1802 One hundred and thirty-five acres of land bought by John Shekell from Oliver and Mary Phelps, of Phelps-Gorhan Purchase for $540.
1847 A piece of Shekell land was sold to William & Ruth Cox.
1871 A piece of Cox land was sold to Thomas Warfield who built the first two-story block at a cost of $7,000.
1883 Block burned to ground. Renters Burgdorf, Fox & Fischer lost everything.
1884 A piece of the east end was sold to the village for a village hall.
1886 Property sold to Frank and Speedie Lapham.
1886 Property sold to Frank & Mary Fischer for $4,500.
1894 Mr. Fischer added a third story and tin roof on the block.
1910 Property sold to IOOF Temple Association for $8,000.
1966 Property sold to Charles & Mary Jane Romeiser.
1986 Property sold to Glenn Norsen & Samuel Beer.
1988 Property sold to Carl & Carol Bechtold.
1994 Property sold to present owners & building remodeling begun.
1995 Remodeling completed, building officially named Warfield Block in tribute to its first builder, Thomas Warfield, and Warfield's Restaurant & Bakery opened for business.
1996 The newly remodeled second floor opened as the Warfield's Restaurant Banquet Facilities.
1998 The Piano Bar and Lounge opened with live entertainment on weekends.
1999 Victorian Era English Garden added.
